CBSHOME Real Estate would like to congratulate Mark Leaders, Sales Manager of the Northwest Office, on his recent recognition as the Nebraska CRS of the Year. The CRS (Council of Residential Specialists) designation is the highest credential awarded to REALTORS that only 3% of agents attain. It is the mark of expertise and professionalism in residential real estate sales and marketing.
Leaders received his real estate broker’s license in 1986. He has served as District Vice President of the Nebraska CRS Chapter. He is currently serving as an OABR Director and a Nebraska REALTORS Association Director.
CBSHOME Real Estate’s Habitat for Humanity Build kicks-off tomorrow morning! Our West Dodge Office begins work framing the house located at 31st and Meredith.
The very deserving family started their partnership with Habitat back in December 2011. Since then, they have put in their “sweat equity” hours and are very excited to start building their new home with CBSHOME. They had always wanted to own their own home and provide a safe place for their family.

CBSHOME Real Estate is pleased to announce that Scott Babcock has been named manager of our Commercial Real Estate Division. Scott has over 12 years of commercial real estate experience and 22 years of diverse business experience. He joined CBSHOME in early 2011.
Scott will be responsible for growing the commercial real estate operation along with recruiting additional commercial associates.
CBSHOME Real Estate would like to congratulate Deda Myhre, Assistant Sales Manager at the Northwest Office, on being recognized as the Women’s Council of Realtors Realtor of the Year.
She has been actively involved with the Women’s Council of Realtors for the past eight years serving as President in 2009, also serving as an ex-officio OABR board member during that term. She is an active member of the Millard Business Association and has served on the board for their philanthropic endeavor, Project Wee Care, the last four years. Other activities include the Millard Schools Advisory Board, United Way and Lydia House Clothing Drive office liaison.
Myhre is going into her 10th year in the real estate business, all of those with CBSHOME. She has received the E-Pro (Certification for Internet Professionalism) and RFC (Residential Financial Consultant) designations.

What a great turnout and successful event we had for the 3rd Annual CBSHOME Relocation Cook-Off! On Wednesday, September 7th our sales offices participated in the annual cook-off with a friendly competition between offices. Each office was challenged with creating a theme (decor and food) and choosing a charity. Agents and employees voted for their favorites with their dollars! In total, we raised over $1,600 dollars for our charities of choice and surpassed last years total by several hundred dollars.
Congratulations to the Pacific Street Office with their Italian Feast – our First Place winners! Second place goes to the Bellevue Office with their BBQ spread and third place goes to our Davenport Street Office with the red carpet desserts!
Thank you to all our offices who participated and helped raise donations for their charities. Every dollar counts and the charities all benefit from your generosity. The donations were given to the following charities, as selected by there office – Alzheimer’s Association, Nebraska Children’s Home, Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society, Make-a-Wish Foundation and The American Red Cross Flood Relief.

Mindy has been a licensed real estate agent since 2006. She is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR). Prior to real estate, she was a day care provider.
Outside of real estate, Mindy is busy with her husband and two children. She also enjoys horseback riding.

Steve has been a licensed Realtor® for 14 years and has experience with residential real estate, new construction and land sales. He represents Ryan Krejci of Ideal Design Custom Homes. He also holds the CSP in New Construction designation. This designation is earned through the National Association of Home Builders and is given to agents who complete several courses in the area of new construction and helping their clients.
Outside of real estate, Steve enjoys Husker Football and spending time with his wife and kids.
